व्यक्षिपन्नायुधान्यन्ये ममृदुश्चापरे भुजान्‌

Transliteration

vyakṣipann āyudhāny anye mamṛduś cāpare bhujān

Translation

Sañjaya sagte: „Einige warfen ihre Waffen fort, andere schlugen sich in hilfloser Verzweiflung auf die eigenen Arme — Zeichen eines gebrochenen Geistes inmitten der moralischen und körperlichen Verwüstung des Krieges.“
