कर्ण-पाण्डव-संमर्दः — Karṇa and Arjuna’s Intensified Engagement
चापशब्दं ततः कृत्वा तलशब्दं च भैरवम् । अभ्यद्रवत राधेयो भीमसेनरथं प्रति,तदनन्तर धनुषकी टंकार और हथेलीका भयानक शब्द करते हुए राधानन्दन कर्णने भीमसेनके रथपर धावा बोल दिया
cāpaśabdaṃ tataḥ kṛtvā talaśabdaṃ ca bhairavam | abhyadravat rādhēyo bhīmasenarathaṃ prati ||
Sañjaya sprach: „Dann, den scharfen Klang seiner Bogensehne und ein schauriges, klatschendes Geräusch erzeugend, stürmte Rādheya (Karṇa) geradewegs auf Bhīmasenas Streitwagen zu.“
