गदामेवाग्रहीत् क्रुद्धश्चिक्षेप च परंतप । शत्रुओंको संताप देनेवाले नरेश! उस गदाको सहसा अपने ऊपर आती देख क्रोधमें भरे हुए युधिष्ठिरने भी गदा ही उठा ली और द्रोणाचार्यपर चला दी

Sañjaya sprach: Von Zorn entbrannt ergriff er seine Keule und schleuderte sie, o Bezwinger der Feinde. Als Yudhiṣṭhira die Keule plötzlich auf sich zurasen sah, loderte auch in ihm der Zorn auf; er hob ebenfalls eine Keule und warf sie zurück, gegen Droṇācārya gerichtet.
