वासाय खाण्डवप्रस्थं व्रजध्वं गतमत्सरा: । तयोस्ते वचनाज्जग्मु: सह सर्व: सुहृज्जनै:

Transliteration

vāsāya khāṇḍavaprasthaṃ vrajadhvaṃ gatamatsarāḥ | tayos te vacanāj jagmuḥ saha sarvaḥ suhṛjjanaiḥ ||

Translation

Vaiśaṃpāyana sprach: „Geht nach Khāṇḍavaprastha, um dort zu wohnen, frei von Neid.“ Auf das Wort jener beiden brachen sie auf, begleitet von all ihren wohlgesinnten Freunden und Verwandten.
