Śārṅgakānāṃ Avināśaḥ (Why the Śārṅga Birds Were Spared) | शार्ङ्गकानामविनाशः
वासुदेवस्तु पार्थेन तत्रैव सह भारत । उवास नगरे रम्ये शक्रप्रस्थे महात्मना,जनमेजय! परंतु भगवान् वासुदेव महात्मा अर्जुनके साथ रमणीय इन्द्रप्रस्थमें ही ठहर गये
vāsudevas tu pārthena tatraiva saha bhārata | uvāsa nagare ramye śakraprasthe mahātmanā janamejaya ||
Vaiśaṃpāyana sprach: O Nachkomme Bharatas, o Janamejaya—Vāsudeva (Kṛṣṇa) blieb dort selbst zusammen mit Pārtha (Arjuna) und wohnte in der lieblichen Stadt Śakraprastha (Indraprastha).
