राम॑ पुरस्कृत्य ययुर्वष्ण्यन्धकमहारथा: । रत्नान्यादाय शुभ्राणि दत्तानि कुरुसत्तमै:,वृष्णि और अन्धकवंशके महारथी कुरुप्रवर पाण्डवोंके दिये हुए उज्ज्वल रत्नोंकी भेंट ले बलरामजीको आगे करके चले गये

Transliteration

Rāmaṁ puraskṛtya yayur Vṛṣṇy-Andhaka-mahārathāḥ | ratnāny ādāya śubhrāṇi dattāni Kuru-sattamaiḥ ||

Translation

Vaiśampāyana sprach: Indem sie Balarāma an die Spitze stellten, brachen die großen Wagenkrieger der Vṛṣṇi- und Andhaka-Sippen auf und trugen die hell glänzenden Juwelen mit sich, die ihnen von den Vornehmsten der Kurus geschenkt worden waren.
