तेडभिजम्मुर्जितक्रोधा जितात्मानो जितेन्द्रिया: । पितामहस्य भवनं जगत: कृपया तदा,उन्होंने अपने मन, इन्द्रियसमुदाय तथा क्रोधको जीत लिया था। फिर भी सम्पूर्ण जगतपर दया करके वे ब्रह्माजीके धाममें गये
teḍabhijammurjitakrodhā jitātmāno jitendriyāḥ | pitāmahasya bhavanaṃ jagataḥ kṛpayā tadā ||
Nachdem sie den Zorn bezwungen, ihren Geist gemeistert und die Sinne gezügelt hatten, gingen sie dennoch—aus Mitgefühl für die ganze Welt—zu jener Zeit in die Wohnstatt des Großvaters (Brahmā).
नारद उवाच
True spiritual discipline is not only inner conquest—mastery over anger, mind, and senses—but also compassionate engagement for the welfare of the world; self-control culminates in kṛpā (mercy).
Nārada describes certain disciplined beings who, despite being fully self-restrained, are moved by compassion for all creatures and therefore proceed to the abode of Pitāmaha (Brahmā), implying a purposeful visit for guidance or cosmic benefit.
