अन्योन्यं तौ समासाद्य विचकर्षतुरोजसा । हिडिम्बो भीमसेनश्न विक्रमं चक्रनु: परम्,फिर तो दोनों एक-दूसरेसे गुथ गये और बलपूर्वक अपनी-अपनी ओर खींचने लगे। हिडिम्ब और भीमसेन दोनोंने बड़ा भारी पराक्रम प्रकट किया
anyonyam tau samāsādya vicakarṣatur ojasā | hiḍimbo bhīmasenaś ca vikramaṁ cakratuḥ param ||
Als sie einander frontal begegneten, rangen sie miteinander und zerrten sich mit gewaltiger Kraft in entgegengesetzte Richtungen. Hidimba und Bhīmasena zeigten beide außerordentliche Tapferkeit.
