Post–Baka-vadha Residence and the Introduction of Yājñasenī’s Svayaṃvara (आदि पर्व, अध्याय १५३)
आपतत्येष दुष्टात्मा संक़रुद्ध: पुरुषादक: । साहं त्वां भ्रातृभि: सार्थ यद् ब्रवीमि तथा कुरु,'(देखिये,) यह दुष्टात्मा नरभक्षी राक्षस क्रोधमें भरा हुआ इधर ही आ रहा है, अतः मैं भाइयोंसहित आपसे जो कहती हूँ, वैसा कीजिये
āpatatyeṣa duṣṭātmā saṅkruddhaḥ puruṣādakaḥ | sāhaṃ tvāṃ bhrātṛbhiḥ sārthaṃ yad bravīmi tathā kuru ||
„Sieh nur — dieser menschenfressende Rākṣasa, von böser Seele, vom Zorn erfüllt, stürzt geradewegs hierher. Darum tu genau, was ich dir sage, zusammen mit deinen Brüdern.“
