रत्नानाम् अप्यलाभे तु हेम्ना वा राजतेन वा रजतस्याप्यलाभे तु ताम्रलोहेन कारयेत्

Transliteration

ratnānām apyalābhe tu hemnā vā rājatena vā rajatasyāpyalābhe tu tāmralohena kārayet

Translation

Sind Edelsteine nicht verfügbar, kann man es aus Gold oder aus Silber anfertigen lassen; und wenn selbst Silber fehlt, soll man es aus Kupfer oder Eisen machen, damit die Verehrung des Liṅga des Pati (Śiva) nicht durch Materialmangel behindert wird.
