Mādhayameśvara-māhātmya — Vyāsa at Mandākinī and the Pāśupata Vision

तत्र मन्दाकिनीं पुण्यामृषिसङ्गनिषेविताम् / नदीं विमलपानीयां दृष्ट्वा हृष्टो ऽभवन्मुनिः

tatra mandākinīṃ puṇyāmṛṣisaṅganiṣevitām / nadīṃ vimalapānīyāṃ dṛṣṭvā hṛṣṭo 'bhavanmuniḥ

Dort erblickte der Muni die heilige Mandākinī, von der Schar der ṛṣi aufgesucht und verehrt. Als er den Fluss mit seinem reinen, makellosen, trinkbaren Wasser sah, wurde der Weise von Freude erfüllt.
