May the Waters, with lightning, cloud, and rain, in concert succour you—bounteous givers—yea, the springs, yea, the hidden holders; and may the clouds, shaken loose by the Maruts, further aid, raining along the Earth.
Rishi: Traditionally Atharvanic/Angirasa attribution for AV 4.15 (rain/Parjanya complex; r̥ṣi varies by anukramaṇī tradition).
Devata: Āpaḥ, Parjanya/Maruts (storm-and-rain complex).
Chandas: Mixed; predominantly Triṣṭubh/Jagatī-like cadence in this section (as transmitted in Śaunaka).
Primary: adbhuta
Secondary: shanta
