यदि॑ क॒र्तं प॑ति॒त्वा सं॑श॒श्रे यदि॒ वाश्मा॒ प्रहृ॑तो ज॒घान॑ । ऋ॒भू रथ॑स्ये॒वाङ्गा॑नि॒ सं द॑ध॒त् परु॑षा॒ परुः॑
yádi kartáṃ patitvā́ sáṃśaśre yádi vā́śmā prahr̥tó jaghā́na | r̥bhúḥ rathásyevā́ṅgāni sáṃ dadhát páruṣā páruḥ ||
If, falling into a pit, thou hast been shattered; if a stone, hurled, hath smitten thee—then, as R̥bhu set together the members of a chariot, so let joint be fitted unto joint.
Wenn du, in eine Grube gestürzt, zersplittert wurdest; wenn ein geschleuderter Stein dich getroffen hat — dann, wie R̥bhu die Glieder des Wagens zusammenfügte, so werde Gelenk an Gelenk gefügt, Knochen an Knochen.
