मा त्वा॑ वृ॒क्षः सं बा॑धिष्ट॒ मा दे॒वी पृ॑थि॒वी म॒ही। लो॒कं पि॒तृषु॑ वि॒त्त्वैध॑स्व य॒मरा॑जसु

IAST Transliteration

mā́ tvā vr̥kṣáḥ sáṃ bādhiṣṭa mā́ devī́ pr̥thivī́ mahī́ | lokáṃ pitṛ́ṣu vidvā́ édhasva yamarā́jasu

English Translation (Griffith/Whitney)

Let not the wood oppress thee; let not the Goddess Earth, the mighty, press upon thee. Knowing, win thee a world among the Fathers; wax thou in the realms of King Yama.

Translation

Nicht drücke dich das Holz; nicht laste auf dir die Göttin Erde, die Mächtige. Erkennend, gewinne dir eine Welt unter den Vätern; wachse in den Bereichen des Königs Yama.
