खे रथस्य खेऽनसः खे युगस्य शतक्रतो । अपालामिन्द्र त्रिष्पूत्वाकृणोः सूर्यत्वचम्
khé rathásya khé ’násas khé yugásya śatakrato | apā́lām indra tríḥ pūtvā́kṛṇoḥ sū́rya-tvacam
In the socket of the chariot, in the socket of the wain, in the socket of the yoke, O Śatakratu—Apālā, O Indra, having thrice purified, thou madest sun-skinned.
