चिन्तया जायते दुःखं नान्यथेहेति निश्चयी ।
तया हीनः सुखी शान्तः सर्वत्र गलितस्पृहः ॥ ११-५॥
cintayā jāyate duḥkhaṃ nānyatheheti niścayī .
tayā hīnaḥ sukhī śāntaḥ sarvatra galitaspṛhaḥ .. 11-5..
Wer gewiss erkennt, dass Leid aus Sorge entsteht und hier aus keiner anderen Ursache, ist von ihr frei und bleibt glücklich, friedvoll, überall von Verlangen gelöst.
The verse states that suffering arises from worry and from no other cause, according to the certainty of the wise one.
The person becomes happy, peaceful, and free from desires everywhere.
Advaita often locates bondage in mistaken mental identification. Here worry is shown as the immediate source of suffering, and its absence reveals peace.
