कपालीति महेशानो दक्षेणोक्तः पुरा हरः । तेन यज्ञस्य विध्वंसं कपाली तमथाकरोत् । कपालेश्वरनामेति स्थितोस्मिन्मानवान्तरे
kapālīti maheśāno dakṣeṇoktaḥ purā haraḥ | tena yajñasya vidhvaṃsaṃ kapālī tamathākarot | kapāleśvaranāmeti sthitosminmānavāntare
পূর্বকালে দক্ষ মহেশান হরকে “কপালী” বলে সম্বোধন করেছিলেন। সেই কারণেই কপালী সেই যজ্ঞের বিনাশ সাধন করেন। এই বর্তমান মন্বন্তরে তিনি এখানে “কপালেশ্বর” নামে প্রতিষ্ঠিত আছেন।
