अतीतानागतं वेत्ति विना लिंगैर्भवानिह । तस्मात्कुरु प्रसादं मे यथा स्याद्ब्राह्मणः सुतः । क्षत्रियस्य तु पुत्रस्य भवान्नार्हः कथंचन
atītānāgataṃ vetti vinā liṃgairbhavāniha | tasmātkuru prasādaṃ me yathā syādbrāhmaṇaḥ sutaḥ | kṣatriyasya tu putrasya bhavānnārhaḥ kathaṃcana
এখানে আপনি বাহ্য লক্ষণ ছাড়াই অতীত ও ভবিষ্যৎ জানেন। অতএব আমার প্রতি প্রসন্ন হোন, যেন আমার পুত্র ব্রাহ্মণ হয়। কিন্তু ক্ষত্রিয়-পুত্রের সঙ্গে আপনার কোনোভাবেই যোগ্য সংযোগ নেই।
