स्वधर्मादनपेतेषु भिक्षा याच्या च योगिना । भैक्षं यवान्नं तक्रं वा पयो यावकमेव वा
svadharmādanapeteṣu bhikṣā yācyā ca yoginā | bhaikṣaṃ yavānnaṃ takraṃ vā payo yāvakameva vā
যোগীর উচিত ভিক্ষা চাইতে কেবল তাদের কাছেই, যারা স্বধর্ম থেকে বিচ্যুত নয়। ভিক্ষায় যবের অন্ন, বা ছানা-জল (তক্ৰ), বা দুধ, অথবা কেবল যাৱক-গ্রুয়েল হতে পারে।
