न चाप्युदकदातासौ क्षुत्तृड्भ्यामतिपीड्यते । बांधवैस्तूदकं दत्तं नदीभूत्वोपतिष्ठति
na cāpyudakadātāsau kṣuttṛḍbhyāmatipīḍyate | bāṃdhavaistūdakaṃ dattaṃ nadībhūtvopatiṣṭhati
যে জলদাতা, সে ক্ষুধা-তৃষ্ণায় অতিশয় পীড়িত হয় না; আর আত্মীয়দের দত্ত জল তার কাছে যেন নদী হয়ে উপস্থিত হয়।
