गङ्गोवाच । त्वत्पादकमलाद्भ्रष्टा गङ्गा सहचरा विभो । यदृच्छया त्रिलोकेश वन्द्यमाना दिवौकसैः
gaṅgovāca | tvatpādakamalādbhraṣṭā gaṅgā sahacarā vibho | yadṛcchayā trilokeśa vandyamānā divaukasaiḥ
গঙ্গা বললেন—হে বিভো! আমি গঙ্গা, আপনার সহচরী, আপনার পদ্মচরণ থেকে পতিত হয়ে এখানে এসেছি। হে ত্রিলোকেশ! দেবলোকবাসীদের দ্বারা বন্দিত হয়ে আমি দৈবক্রমে (এখানে) অবস্থান করেছি।
