विष्णुरुवाच । तपसा तव तुष्टोऽहं मत्पादाम्बुजसम्भवे । मत्तः किमिच्छसे देवि ब्रूहि किं करवाणि ते

বিষ্ণু বললেন—হে আমার পদ্মচরণজাত দেবী! তোমার তপস্যায় আমি সন্তুষ্ট। বলো, দেবী, তুমি আমার কাছে কী কামনা করো? আমি তোমার জন্য কী করব?
