एषा ययौ परमादन्तरद्रेः कूचित्सतीरूर्वे गा विवेद । दिवो न विद्युत्स्तनयन्त्यभ्रैः सोमस्य ते पवत इन्द्र धारा ॥

Transliteration

eṣā yayau paramād antar adreḥ | kūcit satīr ūrve gā viveda | divo na vidyút stanáyanty abhráiḥ | somasya te pavata indra dhārā ||

Translation

এই সোম-ধারা পরম স্থান থেকে এসে অদ্রি (পাথর)-এর অন্তঃহৃদয়ে প্রবেশ করেছে; অনুসন্ধানী হয়ে সে প্রশস্ত গুহায় গাভী (আলোক-কিরণ) আবিষ্কার করেছে। যেমন দিব্য বিদ্যুৎ মেঘের মধ্যে গর্জন করে, তেমনই, হে ইন্দ্র, তোমার সোম-প্রবাহ শুদ্ধ হতে হতে প্রবাহিত হয়।
