Sukta 3.59
मित्रो जनान्यातयति ब्रुवाणो मित्रो दाधार पृथिवीमुत द्याम् । मित्रः कृष्टीरनिमिषाभि चष्टे मित्राय हव्यं घृतवज्जुहोत ॥
mitró jánāny ātayati bruvāṇó mitró dādhāra pṛthivī́m utá dyā́m | mitráḥ kṛṣṭī́r ánimiṣā́bhi caṣṭe mitrā́ya havyáṁ ghṛtávaj juhota ||
মিত্র, সত্যবচন উচ্চারণ করে, জনসমূহকে তাদের যথাযথ গতিতে প্রবৃত্ত করে; মিত্র পৃথিবী ও দ্যৌ (স্বর্গ) ধারণ করে। মিত্র অনিমেষ দৃষ্টিতে মানবজাতিগুলিকে পর্যবেক্ষণ করে। মিত্রের উদ্দেশে ঘৃতসমৃদ্ধ হব্য অর্পণ করো।
