अग्नेरप्नसः समिदस्तु भद्राग्निर्मही रोदसी आ विवेश । अग्निरेकं चोदयत्समत्स्वग्निर्वृत्राणि दयते पुरूणि ॥

agnér apnásaḥ samíd astu bhadrā́gnír mahī́ rodasī́ ā́ viveśa | agnír ékaṁ codayat samátsv agnír vṛtrā́ṇi dayate purū́ṇi ||

অগ্নির অপ্নস্ (কার্য)-এর সমিধ্ (ইন্ধন/প্রজ্বালন) মঙ্গলময় হোক; অগ্নি মহতী রোদসী (দ্যৌ-পৃথিবী)তে প্রবেশ করেছেন। অগ্নি সমৎসু (সংগ্রামে) একম্ (এক তত্ত্ব/এক শক্তি)কে প্রেরণা দেন; অগ্নি বহু বৃত্র (আবরণ/বাধা) ছেদন করেন।
