प्र स्कम्भदेष्णा अनवभ्रराधसोऽलातृणासो विदथेषु सुष्टुताः । अर्चन्त्यर्कं मदिरस्य पीतये विदुर्वीरस्य प्रथमानि पौंस्या ॥

pra skambha-deṣṇā anavabhra-rādhaso 'lātṛṇāso vidatheṣu su-stutāḥ | arcanty arkaṃ madirasya pītaye vidur vīrasya prathamāni paiṃsyā ||

হে (মরুত) স্কম্ভসম, আশ্রয়-স্তম্ভ! দানে অখণ্ড, দোষরহিত—তোমরা বিদথ/সমাবেশে যথাযথভাবে স্তুত। মদির আনন্দের পানার্থে তারা ঋক্-স্তোত্র উচ্চারণ করে; অন্তর্নিহিত বীরের (বীরস্য) প্রথম পৌরুষ-শক্তিগুলি তারা জানে।
