Mahēśa-mantra-prakāśana
हृदयं सबकः सूक्ष्मो लांतोऽनन्तान्वितो मरुत् । पंचाक्षरो मनुः प्रोक्तस्ताराद्योऽयं षडक्षरः ॥ २ ॥
hṛdayaṃ sabakaḥ sūkṣmo lāṃto'nantānvito marut | paṃcākṣaro manuḥ proktastārādyo'yaṃ ṣaḍakṣaraḥ || 2 ||
‘হৃদয়’ মন্ত্রটি ‘সবক’ নামে পরিচিত, স্বভাবতই সূক্ষ্ম; ‘মরুত্’ মন্ত্রটি ‘অনন্ত’ যুক্ত হয়ে ‘লাঁ’ ধ্বনিতে শেষ হয়। ‘মনু’ পাঁচ অক্ষরের বলা হয়েছে, আর এই (অন্য) মন্ত্রটি ‘তারা’ অর্থাৎ ‘ওঁ’ দিয়ে শুরু হয়ে ছয় অক্ষরের ॥ ২ ॥
