Kṛṣṇādi-mantra-varga-varṇana

गरुडेति पदस्यांते चूडाननशुचिप्रिया । शिरोमन्त्रो गरुडतः शिखे स्वाहा शिखा मनुः ॥ १४३ ॥
garuḍeti padasyāṃte cūḍānanaśucipriyā | śiromantro garuḍataḥ śikhe svāhā śikhā manuḥ || 143 ||
মন্ত্রের শেষে ‘গরুড়’ শব্দ যোগ করবে। ‘চূড়ানন-শুচি-প্রিয়া’—এটি শিরোমন্ত্র, যা মস্তকে ন্যাস করতে হয়। ‘গরুড়’ থেকে ‘স্বাহা’ পর্যন্ত অংশ শিখামন্ত্র; শিখায় ন্যাসে প্রয়োগ্য।
