चतुर्विधा मृत्तिका तु श्वेता पीतारुणासिता । तत्र गोपीचंदनं तु हरितालं च गौरिकम् ॥ ६३ ॥

caturvidhā mṛttikā tu śvetā pītāruṇāsitā | tatra gopīcaṃdanaṃ tu haritālaṃ ca gaurikam || 63 ||

Translation

পূজার মৃৎ চার প্রকার—শ্বেত, পীত, অরুণ (লাল) ও অসিত (কালো)। এদের মধ্যে গোপীচন্দন, হরিতাল ও গৌরিকা-ও বিশেষ পবিত্র মৃৎ/খনিজরূপে গণ্য।
