लंकोदयात्स्याद्वारादिस्तस्मादूर्ध्वमधोऽपिवा । देशांतरस्वचरार्द्धनाडीभिरपरे भवेत् ॥ १५९ ॥

Transliteration

laṃkodayātsyādvārādistasmādūrdhvamadho'pivā | deśāṃtarasvacarārddhanāḍībhirapare bhavet || 159 ||

Translation

লঙ্কার সূর্যোদয়কে ভিত্তি করে দ্বারকা প্রভৃতি স্থানের সময় নির্ধারিত হয়—কোথাও এগিয়ে, কোথাও পিছিয়ে। অন্য দেশে দেশান্তরের স্বচর অনুযায়ী অর্ধ-নাড়ী দ্বারা পার্থক্য গণনা করা হয়।
