“অমা-” আদি শ্রেণি শাব্দিকদের দ্বারা নির্দেশিত—সংখ্যায় বত্রিশ। ধ্বনিশাস্ত্রের পারিভাষিক পদে তা ব্যাখ্যাত; এর পরিমাপ বাহাত্তর, ‘ম’ অক্ষর দিয়ে শুরু, এবং উদাত্ত (উচ্চ স্বর)-বন্ধনে যুক্ত॥২৪॥
