Adhyaya 35 — Madālasa’s Instruction on Purity, Impurity, and Corrective Rites (Śauca and Aśauca)
प्रभूतोपहतात् अन्नात् अग्रं उद्धृत्य सन्त्यजेत् ।
शेषस्य प्रोक्षणं कुर्याद् आचम्यादिभस् तथा मृदा ॥
prabhūtopahatād annād agraṃ uddhṛtya santyajet | śeṣasya prokṣaṇaṃ kuryād ācāmyādi-bhas tathā mṛdā ||
অত্যন্ত দুষিত আহার থেকে উপরের/আক্রান্ত অংশ তুলে ফেলে দিতে হবে। অবশিষ্ট অংশে জল ছিটিয়ে (প্রোক্ষণ) তারপর আচমনাদি শৌচকর্ম করে, বিধিমতে মাটি দ্বারা শুদ্ধি করতে হবে।
