Adhyaya 15 — Karmic Retribution: Rebirths After Naraka and the King’s Compassion in Hell
गर्दभो जायते जन्तुः पित्रोश्चाप्यवमानकः ।
मातापितरावाक्रुश्य शारिका सम्प्रजायते ॥
gardabho jāyate jantuḥ pitroś cāpy avamānakaḥ /
mātāpitarāv ākruśya śārikā samprajāyate
যে প্রাণী পিতৃদের অবমাননা করে, সে গাধা হয়ে জন্মায়। আর যে মাতা-পিতাকে নিন্দা করে, সে শারিকা (ময়না) পাখি হয়ে জন্মায়।
