तर्दापते वघापते तृष्टजम्भा आ शृणोत मे । य आरण्या व्यऽद्वरा ये के च स्थ व्यऽद्वरास्तान्त्सर्वान् जम्भयामसि
tardā́pate vághāpate tṛ́ṣṭajambhā ā́ śṛṇota me | yé āraṇyā́ vy-ádvarā yé ké ca sthá vy-ádvarās tā́n sárvān jambhayāmasi
O lord of Tarda, lord of destruction, ye sharp-jawed, hear me hither. What forest-bred burrowers there be, whatever burrowers ye are—those all we crush, we break their jaws.
হে তর্দার অধিপতি, হে বিনাশের অধিপতি, হে তীক্ষ্ণ-চোয়ালবিশিষ্ট, আমার কথা শোনো। অরণ্যে জন্মানো যে গর্ত-খননকারীরা আছে, আর তোমরা যে-যে গর্ত-খননকারী—তাদের সকলকে আমরা চূর্ণ করি, তাদের চোয়াল ভেঙে দিই।
