Sukta 141
लोहितेन स्वधितिना मिथुनं कर्णयोः कृधि । अकर्तामश्विना लक्ष्म तदस्तु प्रजया बहु
lóhitena svádhitinā mithunáṃ kárṇayoh kr̥dhí | ákartām aśvínā lákṣma tád astu prajáyā bahú ||
With the red-hued axe make thou a paired mark upon the ears. Let the Aśvins fashion the sign: so be it—abundant in progeny.
লোহিতবর্ণ স্বধিতি (কুঠার) দিয়ে দুই কানে যুগল-চিহ্ন করো। অশ্বিনদ্বয় সেই লক্ষ্ম-চিহ্ন গড়ে দিন; তা হোক—প্রজায় বহুল, অর্থাৎ সন্তানে সমৃদ্ধ।
