स्मरः। यं देवाः स्मरमसिञ्चन्नप्स्व१न्तः शोशुचानं सहाध्या। तं ते तपामि वरुणस्य धर्मणा
smaráḥ | yáṃ devā́ḥ smaráṃ ásiñcann apsv àntáḥ śóśucānam sahā́dhyā | táṃ te tapāmi váruṇasya dhármaṇā ||
Smara—whom the Gods poured in, within the waters, burning therewithin, together and over all—him I scorch for thee by Varuṇa’s ordinance.
স্মর—যাকে দেবগণ জলের ভেতরে ঢেলে দিয়েছিলেন, যে ভেতরে-ভেতরে, সর্বত্র, একসঙ্গে দগ্ধ হচ্ছিল—বরুণের ধর্ম (আদেশ) অনুসারে তাকে আমি তোমার জন্য তপ্ত করি/দগ্ধ করি।
