Śiva
Tirtha: Prabhāsa-kṣetra
Type: kshetra
Listener: Devī
Scene: A vast night-sky over the Prabhāsa coast; Śiva as a luminous, space-bodied form (ākāśa-rūpa) with constellations within; from the sky descends a radiant seed into Brahmā’s lotus, which then sprouts into a cosmic tree/world-egg, while Devī listens in awe.
Creation is portrayed as emanation from subtle principle (ākāśa/tattva) into manifest forms through Brahmā’s generative role.
Prabhāsa-kṣetra, where the māhātmya interweaves pilgrimage praise with metaphysical explanations of divine manifestation.
None; the passage is doctrinal, offering a contemplative framework rather than a procedural rite.
