विश्वामित्र उवाच । तस्य तं निश्चयं ज्ञात्वा शस्त्रमादाय निर्मलम् । चकर्ताथ भुजौ तस्य भ्राता भ्रातुश्च निर्घृणः । सोपि च्छिन्नकरो विप्रो व्यथयापि समन्वितः
viśvāmitra uvāca | tasya taṃ niścayaṃ jñātvā śastramādāya nirmalam | cakartātha bhujau tasya bhrātā bhrātuśca nirghṛṇaḥ | sopi cchinnakaro vipro vyathayāpi samanvitaḥ
বিশ্বামিত্ৰই ক’লে: তেওঁৰ দৃঢ় সংকল্পৰ কথা জানি, তেওঁৰ ভায়েকে—নিজৰ ভায়েকৰ প্ৰতিও নিৰ্দয় হৈ—এপাট নিৰ্মল অস্ত্ৰ তুলি ল’লে আৰু তেওঁৰ বাহু দুটা কাটি পেলালে। সেই ব্ৰাহ্মণজনো, হাত কটা যোৱাত, যন্ত্ৰণাত ভৰি পৰিল।
