यस्मान्न विद्यते मृत्युस्तेन दृष्टेन देहिनाम् । अमराख्यं ततो लिंगं विख्यातं भुवनत्रये

Transliteration

yasmānna vidyate mṛtyustena dṛṣṭena dehinām | amarākhyaṃ tato liṃgaṃ vikhyātaṃ bhuvanatraye

Translation

যিহেতু দেহধাৰীসকলৰ বাবে তাৰ দৰ্শনে মৃত্যু নাথাকে, সেইহেতু সেই লিঙ্গ ‘অমৰ’ নামে ত্ৰিভুৱনত বিখ্যাত হ’ল।
