सत्यं वाच्यं नित्यमैत्रेण भाव्यं कार्यं त्याज्यं नित्यमायासकारि । लोकेऽमुष्मिन्यद्दिनं स्यात्तथास्मिन्नात्मा योगे येजनीयो गभीरैः
satyaṃ vācyaṃ nityamaitreṇa bhāvyaṃ kāryaṃ tyājyaṃ nityamāyāsakāri | loke'muṣminyaddinaṃ syāttathāsminnātmā yoge yejanīyo gabhīraiḥ
সত্য সদায় ক’ব লাগে; নিত্য মৈত্ৰীভাৱ পোষণ কৰিব লাগে; আৰু যি কৰ্ম সদায় ক্লেশ-অশান্তি আনে, সেয়া ত্যাগ কৰিব লাগে। এই লোকত যিদৰে দিন কটে, তেনেদৰেই পৰলোক গঢ় খায়—সেয়ে জ্ঞানীসকলে গম্ভীৰ যোগে অন্তৰাত্মাৰ উপাসনা কৰিব লাগে।
