अधा होता न्यसीदो यजीयानिळस्पद इषयन्नीड्यः सन् । तं त्वा नरः प्रथमं देवयन्तो महो राये चितयन्तो अनु ग्मन् ॥

adhā́ hótā ny àsīdo yajī́yān iḷás-páda iṣáyann ī́ḍyaḥ sán | táṃ tvā nárāḥ prathamáṃ deváyanto mahó rāyé citáyanto ánu gman ||

তেতিয়া হোতা অধিক-অধিক যজ্ঞযোগ্য হৈ ইলা-স্থানত বহিল; স্ৰোতক প্ৰবাহিত কৰি, পূজনীয় হৈ। হে অগ্নি, দেৱ-অন্বেষী নৰসকলে তোমাক প্ৰথমে অনুসৰণ কৰিলে—মহৎ ৰায় (ঐশ্বৰ্য/সমৃদ্ধি) কামনা কৰি, আৰু তাক চেতনাত জাগ্ৰত কৰিবলৈ।
