गङ्गामाहात्म्य — The Greatness of the Gaṅgā
चकार मुण्डाञ्शबरान्यवनांल्लम्बमूर्द्धजान् । अन्धांश्च श्मश्रुलान्सर्वान्मुण्डान्वेदबहिष्कृतान् ॥ ३९ ॥
cakāra muṇḍāñśabarānyavanāṃllambamūrddhajān | andhāṃśca śmaśrulānsarvānmuṇḍānvedabahiṣkṛtān || 39 ||
তেওঁ শবৰ আৰু যৱনসকলক মুণ্ডন কৰাই শিখা দীঘল ৰাখিলে; আৰু বাকী সকলোকে অন্ধ, দাড়িওৱালা আৰু মুণ্ডিত কৰি বেদৰ পৰা বহিষ্কৃত কৰিলে।
