Mokṣopāya: Bhakti-rooted Jñāna and the Aṣṭāṅga Yoga of Viṣṇu-Meditation
akṣayaḥ paramo dharmo bhaktileśena jāyate | śraddhayā parayā caiva sarvaṃ pāpaṃ praṇaśyati || 29 ||
Narada (teaching in the Narada Purana dialogue tradition)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: bhakti
Secondary Rasa: shanta
It states that true Dharma becomes “akṣaya” (imperishable) when even a small amount of bhakti is present, and that elevated śraddhā has the power to eradicate accumulated pāpa.
Bhakti is presented as the generative seed of the highest Dharma—so potent that even a mere “leśa” (trace) transforms practice into enduring spiritual merit and inner purity.
No specific Vedanga (like Vyākaraṇa, Jyotiṣa, or Kalpa) is taught here; the practical takeaway is that ritual correctness is spiritually completed by śraddhā and bhakti, which remove pāpa.
