Sanatkumara (teaching Narada)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: bhakti
Secondary Rasa: shanta
It teaches that ethical discipline (sadācāra) is not separate from spirituality: it generates brahmatejas (inner sacred radiance) and culminates in the grace and pleasure of Viṣṇu when joined with bhakti.
Bhakti here is shown as devotion supported by conduct—devotion becomes effective and pleasing to Viṣṇu when the devotee’s life is aligned with sadācāra rather than mere outward worship.
The verse primarily stresses dharmic discipline rather than a specific Vedāṅga; practically, it implies that scriptural learning (including Vyākaraṇa and other Vedāṅgas) should be grounded in sadācāra to bear spiritual fruit (brahmatejas).
