मेषप्रवेशे सेनानीः कर्कटे सस्यपो भवेत् । समोद्यधीश्वरः सूर्यो मध्यमश्चोत्तमो विधुः ॥ २ ॥
meṣapraveśe senānīḥ karkaṭe sasyapo bhavet | samodyadhīśvaraḥ sūryo madhyamaścottamo vidhuḥ || 2 ||
সূৰ্য মেষত প্ৰৱেশ কৰিলে সেনানায়কৰ যোগ; কৰ্কটত (প্ৰৱেশে) সস্যপতি অৰ্থাৎ শস্যৰ অধিপতি হয়। সূৰ্য সমুদ্ৰাধীশ্বৰ হয়, আৰু চন্দ্ৰ প্ৰথমে মধ্যম, পাছত উত্তম ফলদায়ক হয়।
