Narada (in the Narada–Sanatkumara dialogue context)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: shanta
Secondary Rasa: bhakti
It frames pāpa (sinful conduct) as an active moral transgression with real consequences, invoking Brahmā as cosmic authority to neutralize harmful, unrighteous opposition.
Indirectly, it implies that devotion aligns one with dharma and divine order; hostility and wicked action (pāpa-karma) place one in opposition to that order and invite corrective divine intervention.
The verse is primarily dharma-oriented rather than technical Vedanga instruction; its practical takeaway is ethical discipline—avoiding pāpa-karma—which underpins ritual purity and effective religious practice.
