Sukta 53
दीर्घायुः। अमुत्रभूयादधि यद् यमस्य बृहस्पतेरभिशस्तेरमुञ्चः । प्रत्यौहतामश्विना मृत्युमस्मद् देवानामग्ने भिषजा शचीभिः
dīrghāyúḥ | amútra-bhūyād ádhi yád yámasya bृहáspater abhíśaster amúñcaḥ | práty auhatām aśvínā mṛtyúm asmád devā́nām agne bhiṣájā śacī́bhiḥ
Long life!—Let him not be yonder’s own, though Yama had laid hold: from Bṛhaspati’s ban, from the imprecation, thou hast loosed him. Let the Aśvins thrust Death backward from us; O Agni, physician of the Gods, with thy potent arts.
দীৰ্ঘায়ুঃ! যমে ধৰি ল’লেও সি যেন অমুত্ৰৰ নহয়। বृहস্পতিৰ অভিশাপ আৰু নিন্দাৰ বন্ধনৰ পৰা তুমি তাক মুক্ত কৰিছা। অশ্বিনীদ্বয় যেন মৃত্যুক আমাৰ পৰা পিছলৈ ঠেলি দিয়ে; হে অগ্নি, দেৱতাসকলৰ ভিষজ, তোমাৰ শক্তিশালী চিকিৎসা-কৌশলে।
