Related Themes: Agni Purana 379.65 (appearance of multiplicity explained by error)
It imparts jñāna-vidyā (knowledge of the all-pervading supreme Self/Viṣṇu) as the direct means to mokṣa, emphasizing realization rather than external ritual technique.
Alongside ritual, governance, medicine, and arts, the Agni Purāṇa also preserves concise mokṣa-śāstra: a Vedāntic, non-dual teaching identifying the One Reality as all-pervading Viṣṇu and presenting liberation as knowledge-based.
It frames liberation as the फल (result) of right knowledge—dissolving the sense of separateness—thereby cutting bondage at its root rather than merely accumulating ritual merit.
