अपुत्रेण पुरा पृष्टो राज्ञा दशरथेन च । पुत्रकामपरः पश्चाद् वसिष्ठः परमार्चितः ॥ ४५.६ ॥
aputreṇa purā pṛṣṭo rājñā daśarathena ca | putrakāmaparaḥ paścād vasiṣṭhaḥ paramārcitaḥ || 45.6 ||
فيما مضى، سألَه الملك دَشَرَثَ (Daśaratha) إذ كان بلا ولد؛ ثم بعد ذلك، وقد انصرف همُّه إلى طلب الذرية، أُكرِم فَسِشْتَه (Vasiṣṭha) إكرامًا لائقًا بأعلى مراتب التبجيل.
