एवमुक्त्वा हरो देवान् विसृज्य स्वाङ्गसंस्थिताम् । शक्तिं संक्षोभयामास पुत्रहेतोः परंतप ॥ २५.३२ ॥

evam uktvā haro devān visṛjya svāṅga-saṃsthitām | śaktiṃ saṃkṣobhayāmāsa putra-hetoḥ paraṃtapa || 25.32 ||

هكذا تكلّم هَرَا (شِيفا)، فصرفَ الآلهة، ثم حرّك الشاكتي القاطنة في جسده هو، ابتغاءَ إنجابِ ابنٍ—يا مُحرِقَ الأعداء.
